Thoughts From Atop The Lair 04/12/2011: Living on the EDGE

I am TMIB, The Man In Black, and I sit atop my lair observing the wrestling world.

Last night a bright light that has shined in the WWE was dimmed as Adam "Edge" Copeland was forced to retire.  I say dimmed only because The Rated R Superstar may not compete in the ring but we all know he will continue to give the WWE an EDGE.

WWE knows Edge has something to offer.  Look at Arn Anderson...who quit due to simular problems.  He hasn't wrestled in 20 years but...if you where to walk back stage he would be there...making a difference.  So we know Edge will always be in the WWE...John Cena said it best.."the WWE isn't in an office in Bridgeport, Ct, but it in the hearts and minds of the fans"  so Edge will always be in the WWE.  He will find his place to add his input.

I remember during the time of The Brood when Christian was booked as Edge's brother, the days of appearing from out of the crowd and the days of the Downward Spiral.  I remember the days of Edge and Chistian and when Conchairto's were around every corner.

I remember a time when the RKO was RATED R and the only Voices in Randy's ear was those from the Edge.

I remember a time of Lita and sexual parties at center ring, I remember times with Vickie with EXCUSE ME shouted aloud.

The memories go on and will be talked about from now on.  Edge sends a message to us all..wrestler are human and injuries take place.  Your legacy is intact champ..thank you for everything.

Thanks

TMIB
